Faith (Remastered 2CD+DVD Special Edition)

George Michael’s superb debut CD gets the “remaster” treatment to bring its sound up to date as well as presenting extra material including remixes and interviews. This is considered by many to be one of the best pop albums of all time and is certainly one of the best pop CDs to come out of the 1980’s (and that’s saying something in decade renowned for its pop music).

In 1987 “Faith” came out and promptly went to number one in both the UK and the USA. The Wham years put him into the spotlight and created the adoration of millions of around the world, but as a solo performer he hit even bigger heights. “Faith” gained a Grammy Award in 1989 and has gone on to sell a huge 21 million copies worldwide spawning hit singles “I Want Your Sex”, “Faith”, “Father Figure”, “One More Try”, “Monkey” and “Kissing A Fool”, which all went Top 10 in either the UK or the US.

The repackaged “Faith” comes complete with a bonus disc of music and disc with videos, an interview with Jonathan Ross and more. There is a 40 page book with rare photos and an interview and it’s enclosed in a black slipcase with gold foil – now that’s a repackage. If you are a George Michael fan then this is well worth checking out and partying like it’s 1987 all over again!
