The Wham years put him into the spotlight and created the adoration of millions of around the world, but as a solo performer he hit even bigger heights. “Faith” gained a Grammy Award in 1989 and has gone on to sell a huge 21 million copies worldwide spawning hit singles “I Want Your Sex”, “Faith”, “Father Figure”, “One More Try”, “Monkey” and “Kissing A Fool”, which all went Top 10 in either the UK or the US.
The repackaged “Faith” comes complete with a bonus disc of music and disc with videos, an interview with Jonathan Ross and more. There is a 40 page book with rare photos and an interview and it’s enclosed in a black slipcase with gold foil – now that’s a repackage. If you are a George Michael fan then this is well worth checking out and partying like it’s 1987 all over again!

When it first came out Faith was an amzing album, great songs by an artist on the verge of super stardom. The intervening years have shown that while an incredibly talented musician, George Michael is as human as the rest of us, but the reissue of Faith is a welcome reminder of what a talent he is, the songs that seemed so original and groundbreaking in their day haven't dated a bit,and compared to what's in the charts at the moment, actually seem even better now.
Thanks George, now I must go back and listen to it again.
