Anthems II (1991-2009)

Another phenomenal year for Hed Kandi culminates in this collection of the cool, the classic and the chilled as we present this high-gloss, low cost round up, wrapped in what is possibly our most glamorous imagery yet. With the release date landing on the Christmas gifting period we are certain this will be high on everyone’s shopping list this year, Jason Brooke’s striking imagery alone enough to woo it off the shelves!

Rest assured we won’t be relying on this alone however as we dig deep and splash out on a huge TV advertising campaign which will plant this release firmly in the minds of shoppers throughout November, the Christmas rush and beyond. Don’t forget, last year’s Mix album was Hed Kandi’s biggest-selling album to date, rocketing past Gold status and still being snapped up by Hed Kandi fans the world over.

Getting back to what Hed Kandi is all about however, this year has been a hopeful harvest with the fruits of new music in full bloom and it’s been very difficult for us to choose tracks which didn’t make the cut, even with three CDs to fill!

It would seem that Hed Kandi has transcended record label status and is now widely used to define a genre of uplifting feel-good house and here we have endeavoured to preserve that, after all, it’s a tag worth nurturing!

The result is a perfect reflection of what we all call Hed Kandi.
