Description

Blast from the Past is a romantic comedy featuring two children of the nuclear age - one a modern L.A. woman ; the other an innocent young man cocooned since 1962 in a bomb shelter.

Adam (Brendan Fraser) the son of brilliant scientist Calvin Webber (Christopher Walker) and perfect suburban wife (Sissy Spacek) was born in his family's elaborately engineered steel bunker, after they mistook a plane crash in their backyard for a nuclear attack.

Eve, (Alicia Silverstone) however, grew up in a rapidly changing LA and her life has been a series of dead-end jobs, shallow boyfriends and dashed hopes.

When the time-triggered shelter finally opens, Adam bumps smack into Eve. At more » first she can't believe this guy who says "Ma'am", and has never seen a colour television, is for real.

But Eve watches Adam approach the world with wide eyes and finds herself falling..in love?
