Description
Oakland A's general manager Billy Beane (Brad Pitt) challenges the system and defies conventional wisdom when he is forced to rebuild his small-market team, on a limited budget. Despite opposition from the old guard, the media, fans and their own field manager (Philip Seymour Hoffman), Beane - with the help of a young, number-crunching, Yale-educated economist (Jonah Hill) - develops a roster of misfits and changes the way the game is played forever.

Comments about Moneyball:
I really liked this. I wasn't sure if this would be particularly good due to the film having a baseball background but, it's not just about the subject matter - it is quite a heart-warming story about how things change in sport and for the better.
It's a fairly longish film clocking in at just over 2 hours but it's not a clock watching film it keeps your interest thoughout all of the film. A really good watch.
