White Vengeance is the turning point in Xiang Yu and Liu Bang's contend for supremacy. At the beginning, Liu Bang is at disadvantage, being threatened by growing crisis. He is inferior to Xiang Yu from all sides. However, Xiang Yu lets Liu off. When they confront with each other again, it becomes a final fight between two equally powerful opponents. At last, Liu Bang beats Xiang Yu and wins the whole country. The reason for Xiang Yu's failure is that he has too much confidence in himself and others. Nevertheless, he still wins the heart of the woman he loves. On the contrary, Liu Bang regrets attending the White Vengeance before his death, because he couldn't trust anyone and lose the woman he loves ever since the White Vengeance. He kills those who have contributed to his success in order to keep his power and position. Without friends and the true love, he could never taste the joy of happiness even though he owns the power.
