2020 release. Apka!, the fifth album from Sao Paulo's singer/composer Ceu, consolidates her career journey up to this point. The record brings together sonic, thematic and conceptual extremes. It reveals an artist passing through her past musical trips, eventually leaving her chrysalis, transformed and ready for a new phase. The title is based on a made-up word shouted by Ceu's youngest child, Antonino, that expresses complete satisfaction. A mixture of excitement and gratitude, Apka! Exudes just that.
