Aja Alycean (pronounced Asia Allison - yeah, it's her real name) Aja's music covers a Country over tone mixed with Pop and Rock. On the song "Smack Dab", the creative melodies pull in a kickin' Rockabilly sound as the song features Grammy winner, Dennis Caplinger on the Fiddle. The song "What He Said" is just a great story of how heartbreak can tear you up one day, and make you stronger the next. At age 12 Aja's amazing voice and passionate melodies make listening to this song a fun and memorable tune that you want to hear again. "Fly Away", written by Aja, is bound to be a huge hit. The song reaches the masses as the lifelong struggle against parents come in to play. It has a really cool melody and a killer bridge! Aja was five years old when she performed her first song for an audience of about 300. The crowd loved her and she loved the cheers. Since then, she has taken every opportunity to sing in front of an audience. From community theatre to radio contests to singing the National Anthem for the San Diego Padres, Aja's dream and passion is performing. In December of 2007 she entered a radio contest on KSON in San Diego and won the chance to sing with Billy Ray Cyrus at the Carols by Candlelight concert, a benefit, for the Make a Wish Foundation. She and Billy Ray sang to a sold out crowd of 1,500 and Aja left the audience wanting more. Since then, Aja started to write and record original music and currently has concert dates scheduled in Southern California. While endless melodies are playing in her head, Aja is playing on the volleyball court with her teammates. She hits the courts 3 times a week and loves every minute of it. School, music, sports, boys and texting her friends occupy most of her day like most 12-year old girls. And when Aja is home, she is surrounded by her loving family, two parents, two brothers, 3 dogs, 1 cat, and 2 guinea pigs.
