An album of songs without words by Australian composer, Andrew Blyth. The album has been recorded with Miscellany, a trio of flute, viola and harp. The music combines folk, classical and popular elements in a collection of reflective and lyrical pieces. Andrew Blyth has written and recorded a number of larger classical concertos and sonatas with strong lyrical and rhythmic features. The emphasis in this CD is on the melodic and expressive.
