Jazz keyboardist Rich Aronson has been a much in demand session player over the years most noted in recent years for his work with George Benson and Atlantic Starr. Saxophonist Glen Garrett has played with everyone from Cab Calloway to Michael Brecker and has also been a first call session player, and in recent years a top notch music educator. Back in 1978 when Aronson and Garrett were young up and coming jazz stars, they put together the Aronson-Garrett Fusion Band and made one critically acclaimed album entitled "Le Jazz Hot." The album boasted a large band featuring Garrett on alto saxophone and Aronson on keyboards that included Steve Bartek (Guitar); Steve Forman (percussion); Jay Anderson (bass); Jim Nelson (drums); Stu Blumberg (trumpet); Ron Barrows (lead trumpet); Ron King (trumpet); Ken Kaplin (trumpet); Alan Kaplan (trombone); Rick Culver (trombone); Curt Berg (trombone); John Leys (bass trombone); Andy MacKintosh (lead alto saxophone); Scott Harris (alto saxophone); Don Roberts (tenor saxophone); John Mitchell (baritone saxophone) and Gary Herbig (tenor saxophone).
