Tocado a Vento
Austhral was formed in March of 2004, based on songs composed and recorded by Crisian Derosa (guitars) and Marlon Derosa (drums), in the Brazilian city of Florianopolis some years before. Their first line-up had just three members, but the proposal was to make a unique sound without any specific label. After the departure of the first bassist the band was restructured and added some progressive and more technique influences. Two other musicians joined the band, bringing for the first time the sound of keyboard to the songs. After a few line-up changes they reached the present line-up, adding more technique and maintaining the lyrical thematic about the southern lands which motivated the band to exist. Emphasizing Black and Thrash Metal, among other genres, Austhral composed songs for their first work entitled Forest Dell\'Ombra, released in 2005. It was a promo for the first album which release was made in the same time of their first concerts. Austhral released too in 2008, for the Face The Abyss Records, the album 'Tocado a Vento', based in the southern culture and history of the Brazilian's wars, in century XIX.
