BACK 2 BACK Back 2 Back is One of gospel music's newest sensation and highly sought after jazz ensemble. Established in the year 2001, under the direction of saxophonist Tony Woodard this ensemble has proven themselves as remarkable, inspiring and uplifting to both young and old listeners of instrumental music. Formerly known as Tri-City Sounds, This group has been recognized by artist such as Dorinda Clark-Cole and the Life Line Productions, J-Moss, Carneil Maureil, Fat Back and Gospel Announcer "Bro Steve". As one of Jazz newest artist Back 2 Back were noted as artist of the week on Jazz Review.com and a 1st place award recipient of the New York International Music fest at Madison Square Garden. As a professional recording group Back 2 Back has released three main projects: Our Tribute, Dancing Angels and their latest 2005 release " Fun Day ". This project includes vocalist Monique Woodard, Calvin Johnson, Tony McLendon,Pianst-Gill Small,Gutarist-Bruno Speight (from the 'Maceo Parker Band'), and Bassist-Pete Everette (Form the 'Fat Back Crew').
