This Band started around a year ago, just four working stiffs that would get together and jam once a week. The guitar player and the drummer have both been playing for 20 plus years, and the bass for almost as long. One day they played a gig up on Mt.Hood, and the next morning the originals started flowing. I should know I was there and watched these guys write four songs in a matter of a few hours, and playin covers just wasn't that fun anymore. These guys are raw rock, with a additional singer in Dave George it gave them another new sound. What we have hear is two bands in one, two songwriters with two different styles that seem to blend very well. The title song Forefathers is ingenius, had to take some time to write that, very clever song, will rival Eric Clapton's 'Cocaine' one day. Then you have a song Grief that will remind you of CCR, then they go off Fishin in some hole, that is classic. This CD will be one of my favorites for a long time. This band consists of Tim Bliven (Guitars and Vocals),Dave George( Vocals), Andy Little (Bass) and Mike Gjesvold on the drums. I recommend this CD highly, just the title song is worth the price. And this is just the begining of I'm sure several more recordings. Can't wait for the next one....
