I bought this when my skin had been suffering from breakouts. I needed a simple moisturiser that would let my skin to heal without irritating it further. This product is recommended by Paula Begoun (Cosmetics Cop) but only the Moisturising Gel formula, not the Moisturising Lotion. I've been using this product for about one month.

Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturising Gel is great for summer when my combination skin tends to become oily in the humidity. It feels like a light lotion when applied, absorbs easily and is non-greasy. If you have very dry patches though, the dry bits will show appear again a few minutes after application. I thought about purchasing a richer moisturiser for those drier areas but now that it has become more humid, it's enough that I exfoliate weekly in conjunction with using this product - the dry bits have gone now. I'm not sure if this product will provide enough moisturiser in the colder months but it has balanced out my skin for now.

Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturising Gel is 100 percent fragrance free and oil free - I observed that it doesn't clog my pores after use compared to other moisturisers I've tried. I felt confident to use it on the areas where I had breakouts. My skin can be sensitive to products at times, so I was glad that it didn't cause me any problems. It doesn't contain sunscreen, so I need to use it with SPF makeup during the day or on its own when I'm at home or at night time. I use it morning and night after my cleansing routine.

The pump dispenser makes it easy to use and it dispenses the right amount each time for one face application. However, I can see that the bottle will be used up quite quickly. I'm pleased with this purchase and I would purchase again.
