Beppe Donadio was born in Brescia (Italy) in 1968. He's a singer-songwriter, and a piano man. Very talented composer, former "unidentified flying object", he's often compared to great names of the Italian songwriting scene. "Merendine" is his first album, totally self produced, written and arranged, played with a very important rhythmic session (Franco Testa and Elio Rivagli) and a bunch of local great musicians. 'Merendine' is a concept-album in a very vintage way, very far from business rules, rolling like a movie, in which songs are linked together by Donadio and Max, a hypothetical cynical manager asking him "let me hear this" or "play this way", until the 'we'll let you know' at the end of the story, the worst answer you can get from a record producer. Despite the "all by myself" production and promotion, Beppe's songs jumped to Switzerland (RTSI, swiss radio) very soon after "Merendine"'s release. Donadio has been touring since may 2006, with his band and often with Michele Gazich (also with Mark Olson in "The Salvation Blues" worldwide tour), in Italy and Swtzerland. In 2007 he's been the opening act for Pacifico and Eugenio Finardi (a new milestone and an old one in the Italian songwriting tradion) and Mark Olson. "Merendine Part 2" is about to be recorded.
