Hailing from Boulder, Colorado, Firefall formulated in 1974 from a multitude of an amazing classic rockers like Rick Roberts (Flying Burrito Brothers), Michael Clarke (Byrds/Flying Burrito Brothers), Mark Andes(Spirit/Heart/Canned Heat), Jock Bartley (Zephyr) and Larry Burnett.

1976 saw the release of their first smash album “Firefall”, which contained a number of radio friendly tunes as they went on to score a major hit of the year with “You Are The Woman.” Featuring the stellar voice of Rick Roberts and the flute artistry of David Muse, this song would be played on multiple formats of pop, rock, adult contemporary and country radio stations globally.

With more hit albums and major chart success at Top 40 radio, Atlantic Records would reward their superstar band with their very first Greatest Hits collection entitled “The Best Of Firefall.” Featuring a treasure trove of smashes like “Cinderella” “Just Remember I Love You” “Strange Way” “Goodbye I Love You” & “Staying With It” the Lp truly showcases the biggest single records of their long enduring career, which continues to this day.
