Chris and Clay grew up together in Paducah, KY cruising in Clay's Camaro listening to KISS, Cheap Trick, Rush, and all things rock, while making their own in Chris' dad's garage. Meanwhile, Rob and Jon were 20 minutes down the road in Benton, KY watching 'Live at El Mocambo' practically every other night, blasting Trouble cassettes in the Cutlass, playing Hendrix and Zeppelin covers in the basement, and creating their own. Eventually, all four landed in Nashville and birthed Big Jim Slade. Big Jim Slade has released four albums since forming in 1997, including, Plant Life (1998/OUT OF PRINT), Big Jim Slade (2000), Pacify The Herd (2002) and This is delicious. (2008).
