Any Human Heart
BIG LOVE' Band Bio "Indigo Girls meets R.E.M. with a Canadian Twist" 13 years and 3 'official' band names later, 'Big Love' is poised to play an important role in the movement that's bringing roots-based music - authentic songs about life, love and the pursuit of happiness - to people all over the world. The mainstream audience is not only ready for this, but is in need of what 'Big Love' is offering through their unique brand of acoustic-based, harmony-laden original tunes. Call it fate, or call it destiny, there is something enchanting about how this group managed to meld their collective passion for music and life into an amazing musical adventure that has lasted for more than a decade. As Krazy House, the group was blessed with many incredible opportunities to play their music for audiences across Canada. Festival appearances have included Mariposa, Folk on the Rocks, Brampton Folk Festival and Festival by the Sea. They have also played at Toronto's legendary Horseshoe Tavern on two occasions. As part of the Acoustic Rainbow Sampler, the title track from "Straight to All Right" garnered international radio airplay - with rave reviews from down under! With a new drummer on board, Big Love is putting the finishing touches on a new recording to share with the world. The planned release for their current project, "Any Human Heart", is November 2006. This project will join two other full length CDs (In The Beginning and Straight To All Right) as well as a 4-song EP (Four Now). In addition, new material has already been written, and recording is underway, for a 2007 CD release! Four songs from Straight To All Right were recently selected and included in a motion picture soundtrack for the movie "Deer Baby" by Emmy Award-winning director David Webster. Big Love enthusiast, J. Richard Hutt (CCMA producer of the year) is still the Man behind the music as producer, arranger, teacher and Grand Poobah!
