Hand of Four Aces
'A Hand of Four Aces', Big Room's 2006 release, is full of sonic guitar strength, and represents a coming together of the band including new members, and with the help of producer Craig Lewis (Kaleidoscope) shows off the bands capability. 'A Hand of Four Aces' was recorded at Broadcast Studios (Adelaide) and mixed in just one week, but with a band working together and adrenalin riding high the results speak for themselves. The EP came off the back of a fair bit of rehearsing and playing. We basically went striaght into the studio and layed it down, just like alive show. It had energy and volume. The five track EP covers social, desert and experiential themes, and blends them together with the thick paste of guitar, bass and drums.
