Big Stone Iv II
The band formed as the result of a project thrown together to play a set of covers at a the company's summer party. The core members had so much fun that they decided to stick together and write some orignals. Creative differences left to core members seeking a new front man and Drummer Bernie Blonski's close friend Darren Dixon agreed to check it out. With a new front man, the band clicked well, wrote several songs together and played several shows in New York City. The biggest challege, as for many bands, was to find a name. Knowing the band had serious overtones of classic rock, an ecletic, artsy fartsy name would not do. So one night over beers at Mustang Sally's around the corner from their regular rehersal spot, Ultra Sound, Guitarist Matt Salisbury proclaimed 'What about Big Stone IV'? And the band loved it. Unfortunately the band no longer lives on, except for this full length recording. Big Stone IV.
