At age 14, as the bassist for a local band, 'The Candy Store Syndicate', Bill's group opened for Ted Nugent & the Amboy Dukes, Vanilla Fudge, and Stevie Wonder. When he was 21, he wrote his first of three musical scores for a production that premiered at the University of Toledo. With over nearly 40 years of musical experience, Bill is an accomplished musician/songwriter currently playing with a contemporary christian group, a concert band, and a '40's style 16-piece swing band. Although his primary instrument is the bass, he also plays six-string guitar, piano, harmonica, drums and is engaged in learning the violin. Bill has been twice honored in the past year as a finalist in two different categories in VH 1's Song of the Year songwriting contest sponsored by VH1's Save the Music Foundation. As the producer of Madison Arts Studio, he has helped produce demos for local artist looking to showcase their talents while continuing to write and produce his own material.
