Bursting onto NYC's East Village rock scene in 1999 Blisster quickly established themselves as one of the city's brightest stars. With an eclectic mix of '60's Garage, '70's punk and '80's Pop, the band has emerged with their own distinct and powerful sound. Blisster's critical response has been overwhelmingly positive. They were named as one of the top ten bands to see by Miss Adena of the NY Waste. They were also chosen to play on the 'Best of NYC: Live at The Continental' CD due out later this year. Billboard Magazine's Larry Flick wrote in his Continental Drift column about the title track 'Some songs just leap out of the speakers and hit you right between the eyes. 'High Velocity' by Blisster is one of those songs.' He declared 'Valentine' a 'pogo happy gem' For their first full length effort, Blisster chose to work with producer Chris Haskett, former guitarist for The Rollins Band. The end result of their collaboration is a white hot rock album chock full of fun songs with razor sharp hooks, addictive melodies, thunderous instrumentation and scorching vocals.
