Description
Taut British crime drama focuses on London police constables George Dixon (Jack Warner) and Andy Mitchell (Jimmy Hanley), with the seasoned, streetwise Dixon taking the green Mitchell under his wing. When Dixon is gunned down during a confrontation with a low-level thug (Dirk Bogarde), the young rookie becomes part of the expansive manhunt dedicated to tracking the killer down and seeing that he's put behind bars.
