Im Just An Old Folk Singer
I got into music in the sixties, bought a guitar, wrote a few songs, and sang in a folk trio. Nothing serious, just good times and great memories. I put away my guitar and took a forty year hiatus to raise a family, have a career in corporate America and eventually retire. I have again picked up my guitar and launched into the music world. My songs cut across a few genres like folk, country, and inspirational, but all are easy listening. SIMPLE LITTLE COUNTRY SONG and HEROES reminisce about times gone by that were simpler and easier to understand. The theme of making the most of your time, which is passing much too quickly, runs through LOVELY DAY, KEEP ON TURNING, and WHERE DID YOU GO. I'M JUST AN OLD FOLK SINGER, recognizes that all of us from the folk era of the sixties are getting older. RIDE ON A RAINBOW is a whimsical trip with magical powers while HEADING OUT FOR THE SUN was inspired by my annual winter vacation to the Florida Keys. GOODNIGHT and LULLABIES are especially for the kids, or grandkids, as you tuck them in at night.
