The Same Folksinger offers a voice and guitar, with some touches of keyboard and percussion. It is simple and straightforward and sounds much as you might hear these songs at a club or a coffeehouse. The goal is to let the songs speak for themselves and to set the instrumentals free, without overdubs. Rave Tesar, who recorded this album, said that several songs sounded like 'folk standards.' One critic has called it 'a palette of colors and moods, gentle and thought provoking.' Much of the album is here for you to listen to. I hope you like it.
