Made in Revere
From the 60s through the 80s, Revere, Massachusetts nurtured a vibrant homegrown rock music scene in the rythm of other working class seaside communities like Liverpool and Freehold. Bob Nesom is a long-time singer, songwriter and instrumentalist from that sea-side town just outside of Boston. Many of Bob's hometown friends from the 1960s, '70s and '80s are musicians and have been on many of his recordings. Made In Revere celebrates their love of making music, enduring friendship, and the town that molded them: where forming a rock band with friends was the way to make oneself heard and simply an awesome thing to do. Bands dissolved as many of those rockers moved on to jobs and raising families...but each of them keep moving to the magic. Made In Revere, in a sense, is an experience many of us feel in our middle age and about how it feels to be that same kid grown up in this great big world.
