Rolling Down the Road
Brett is a former professor turned musician. Always in love with music, and definitely not academia, he began playing with local bands in the area even as he was grading graduate exams (which explains, of course, why the exams were always late being returned). His interest in original music grew as he played more local venues and began introducting his own material. For someone who wrote books and articles on economic theorems, this was a well desired respite. Finally, he chucked it all and went straight for the music. This album is his first of all original material. His style is country pop influenced, with adult alternative as a few extra gems thrown in. His tenor voice adds luster to the songs, as does his slow hand guitar. His music is currently receiving attention in not just his local area (D.C.) but overseas, including Australia, New Zealand, England, Germany, France, Spain, Denmark, The Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Austria and Belgium. Have a listen and please don't hesitate to contact Brett. He really enjoys hearing from all interested parties!
