Isn't It Funny?
After traveling and playing her way through New York's Greenwich Village and Lower East Side, singer/songwriter Brielle is laying down new roots in Boulder, Colorado. While living in Manhattan, Brielle performed every Sunday night at Jack in the Village. She also performed regularly as part of the Singer/Songwriter Sessions at CBGBs. Brielle's music, a sensual and sumptuous blend of ballad and song, sings to the rites of relationships and adulthood; social commentary and satire. Her bell-like voice and poignant lyrics combine to create a music of powerful access and understanding. Brielle has been drawn to music for as long as she can remember. First pursuing musical theatre, Brielle went on to study classical voice and piano at Bard College, where she developed her talent for songwriting. A native of Rhinebeck, NY, Brielle has performed her original songs in various upstate New York venues and was featured as a soloist with the American Symphony Orchestra in May 2005. In addition to her new ventures in snow boarding, Brielle has been performing at various Boulder and Denver venues. She recently performed as the featured artist at The Rock N Soul Cafe and on KGNU's live Kabaret show.
