Product Notes

A live album from Brooks DeForest featuring his violins and synths mixture, only this time live in England during 2005/06. If you haven't heard Brooks techno orchestral before, then this is a great album to get famliar. 12 previously unreleased 3 to 7 minute bursts of melodic, and anthemic tracks. The instrumental artist is firmly based in pop, with melodies and hooks that will appeal to dance music listeners. Recorded in sessions and live from the fall of 2005 to early January 2006, a real tour de forest of Brook's music. Tracks like Grass Valley, and The Lizard are in Brooks DeForest's regular anthemic electronica style. Providence and Starcross are layed back and chilled out like something from Groove Armada. Track Listing: 01: The Lizard .....(4.00, electronica anthem) 02: Trinity Range .....(7.22, electronica progressive) 03: And Now What? .....(3.59, pop jazz) 04: Fairlight .....(2.58, rock, solo overdriven guitar) 05: Walnut .....(4.25, guitar session, folk) 06: Charles River .....(4.49, jazz combo, waltz) 07: Grass Valley .....(4.52, electronica anthem) 08: Starcross .....(4.42, electronica downtempo) 09: Contemplation .....(5.37, sax solo) 10: Providence .....(7.03, electronica downtempo) 11: And Then What? .....(4.21, solo epiano, 5 beat jazz) 12: Electrical Engineering .....(6.39, parody country song) Brooks grew up in Europe, and first started writing music as a teenager on his own video games. Continuing playing during the late 1990's, his first release was 'A Call From Dr Evil' in 2004. His debut album Ephemeral came out in July 2005, followed by Live In Your Living Room in early 2006.
