Celebration of Life & Love
C. Darrell Bryant began singing at the age of 3. He is from a musical family: his father sang with the gospel quintet Pilgrim Travelers and his mother sang with and continues to sing with gospel groups and churches in the San Joaquin Valley in California. Darrell's aunt, the late Little Sammy Bryant was a vocalist that sang with the late Rev. James Cleveland. As a young man, Darrell sang with his mother at church and other events. At the age of 14, Darrell performed before the renowned singer Ray Charles. During his teen and early adult years Darrell performed with a variety of bands in Merced, California and later in Fresno, California. In the 90s, Darrell won first place in Modesto's 'Searching for the Stars' Talent Showcase. In 2003, Darrell launched his solo career and began singing at a variety of locations in the San Joaquin Valley. In October, 2004, Darrell sang at a Lakers-Kings game. He has sung at Fresno's City Hall, the Central Valley Blues Festival, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Walk-a-Thon, Borders Books and Music and Starbucks.
