Petals of Love 2
Charles Miller was a music teacher and later a computer technology teacher in the Chicago Public Schools. While he was teaching kindergarten began to write songs for his class because he did'nt like the music from books in the classroom. That was 30 years ago, and he never stopped writing songs. In 1999 he re-wrote his New Year's song in his petals of love.com CD and all of a sudden all the words, the music, and the structure came together. He recorded it and with the Blessings of God, the new year's song was finally finished. He rerecorded Hey, Hey and Gemini giving each a new fresh sound one raggae and the other a R&B ballad. After he took early retirement he completed other songs he had written 20 years ago. Those songs also came together with the sound he had searched for during the past years. He is now very proud to present to the world, the new year's song it took 25 years to complete (from hundreds of verses and versions). This CD expresses Summertime lovin, the New Year concept starting off the year in regal sounding song, a family prayer, and a couple's Love.
