As a rapper, Caleb brings to the table a strong combination of charismatic, mainstream appeal and insightful, cleverly composed lyrics ranging from generous expressions of deep feelings to extreme political ideology. Caleb starting rapping around the year 2000 sounding more reminiscent of a conscious rapper, studying the likes of Wu-tang, Nas, Common, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, and the Roots. However his content became more abrasive after coming home from a 1 year tour of Iraq in 2005. He completed his first project, "Humanimation" which reflected that conscious hip-hop sound with the political rhetoric apparent on just a couple of tracks towards the end of the album. Upon returning to the states, his newly acquired chip on his shoulder was evident when he had several run-ins with the police due to his violent behavior & alcohol Abuse. Taking a turn for the worse with a more impatient, resentful personality, Caleb's lyrics also changed form. He delivers a lot of relevant, thought provoking, rants regarding police, the government, the Iraq War, Baby Mama Drama, Drug & alcohol Abuse & the current state of hip-hop & hip-hop artists On the business end, Caleb possesses a very respectable home studio that he uses to make quality recordings. He has a small following consisting of friends, family, & local hip-hop enthusiasts but his talent & product (Humanimation) have by now means but properly utilized, having done about 10 performances and participated in about 10 battles Caleb remaining actively making music with a select few MC's eagerly seeking opportunities to expand the Greater Cincinnati Area and into other regions of the country.
