The third album from Yogi AKA Captain Asshole titled \'Zombie\' is a mesh straight from the horror-core of Hollywood. The theme of \'Zombie\' is similar to that of a George Romero film. The world (or music industry) is over-taken by zombies. In the movies you either are not a zombie and you run on your own, or you you get caught by the zombies and become one yourself. \'Zombie\' is a metaphor for the culture of music in America, which can also eat you alive. There is a wide range of feel on this album musically, from the Spanish electric guitar on \'Senorita\', the 70\'s inspired \'Leaving You\', to the rolling melodic \'Vagabonds\'. Captain A-hole has been known for his sarcastically fun and witty lyrics and yields not a bit on his third go at the music industry. The cleverly written \'Civilized Primates\' pokes fun at the human race by listing how we complain about things...(we can\'t stand the heat but hate the cold, we love to grow but we hate to get old)..but we still never mange to miss our favorite gossip TV show. The title track features guest vocals by Ley and offers a Nine Inch Nails feel about how the world is full of people who are brainless as zombies, and how if you are caught by them, you become one yourself. The musical production is continued by the Halo Production team, Lotis (formally known as Dreama) and Leylo. You can feel the progression in their work as well as Captains. Leys industrial work and harmonizing vocals are groundbreaking on \'Zombies\'. Lotis\' \'real-time\' melodic freestyle of elevating notes on \'Vagabonds\' give the song a true lost-on-the-highway feel. And new to the musical side of production is Nic Galli. Nic (from Buffalo, NY.) lends his guitar talents on several tracks, most notedly on \'Senorita\' where he solos a verse that almost has a voice that speaks for itself. \'Zombie\' features guest spots on vocals by Ley, Man at Arms, Adamus and for the first time since Captains\' 2002 album \'Soiled\' the harmonic vocals of his sister Monica Hampton. Also \'Zombie\' features album artwork from the infamous Dan Brereton, who has done album artwork for the like of Rob Zombie. Dan is most widely known in the comic book industry for his book \'The Nocturnals\' and has also done work for companies such as Marvel, and DC. Yogi (who is actually better known as Captain Asshole) real name is Mike Hampton. Mike lives in Sacramento, CA. and is also a comic book writer and artist. He has written and published such titles as \'Captain A-hole\'s Guide to Dating\', and \'Hot Zombie Chicks\'.
