Carl Vaughan's music career started at the age of four when he began singing on a local radio show in Cleburne, Texas. His recording career has spanned over thirty years. Signing with Monument Records in 1968, he was one of their top artists with several chart records. He has performed on stage and in recording studio with too many artists to list. Artists such as Willie Nelson, George Jones, Ray Price, Faron Young, Charlie Pride, Johnny Paycheck, Tammy Wynette, Connie Smith, and Wynn Stewart. He was a member of the Texas Playboys in the mid 1960's. In 1980 he performed at President Reagan's inaugural celebration. Carl's career has also included movies, national television shows, and he is a published author.
