Carolyn Walsh McLanahan
Carolyn Walsh McLanahan creates music to nurture and uplift any listener who desires more love and understanding in life. Inspired by her rich connection with Spirit, this singer/songwriter offers fellow spiritual seekers hopeful, honest songs about the reality of living the spiritual life. Sharing stories that range from both the heights of divine inspiration and the darkest night of Soul, Carolyn gifts her audience with a universal reflection on the human experience. Students of any spiritual path will resonate with the wide terrain of this music, and will cherish the encouragement and compassion held within every line. Like an old friend who knows you deeply and loves you no matter what, let this music nourish and brighten your days. It has been said that Carolyn emerged from the womb singing, and her early life was filled with music. Often one could find the young songbird at the center of her family's old piano, hammering out tunes for her sisters to sing to. Largely self-taught, she began composing her own work at the age of 14. Like the mystics of old, Carolyn's art and life are inseparable. She crafts love songs to God, reminding her audience of their essential nature as divine beings. Carolyn has performed at spiritual seminars nationally and abroad, and created two albums before collaborating with John Johnson of Johnson Brothers Studios on this debut. She currently lives with her husband and two dogs near the beautiful Rocky Mountains surrounding Boulder, Colorado.
