BIOGRAPHY If you are looking for someone who has the anointing of God upon their life, you are looking for Charlene Jones, powerful, mighty woman of God. Charlene Jones attends The Miracle Revival Tabernacle with the Rev. Virginia Ventura where she serves as worship leader for the past 15 years. Charlene demonstrates the joy of a true worshiper. She can take you into the inner courts to experience the glory of God. Born on the Island of St.Croix, Virgin Island, Charlene is 2nd of four children to the Williams family, one of the Caribbean gospel most renowned musical families. Charlene began singing at a tender age with her sisters on the family radio broadcast program called "Simon Williams And The Gospel Invaders Evangelistic Team." Many knew Bro. Simon with his guitar singing his heart out to the Lord in churches, concert, and open air services. Her mother and father were great pioneers of gospel music. In the year of 1983, Charlene and her sisters Dorett and Norma Williams and sisters Eloise and Sandra Richards came together to form a singing group called the Williams and Richards Sister, which took St. Croix by storm with their beautiful harmonic voices spreading the gospel in songs. In 1987 Charlene and her older sister Dorett moved to Brooklyn, New York where they joined The Triumphant Church under the leadership of Bishop Barney Brown. Charlene was part of the choir. She was also part of a group called The Love delegation with director John Terry Brown. Here Charlene was exposed to a different style of singing which she learn to develop over the years. This group shared stage with the great Hezekiah Walker and the Love Fellowship choir, Yolanda Adams and others. In the year of 1988 Charlene was faced with the death of her sister whom she sang with all her life. Left to branch out on her own Charlene started sing solo. She felt the calling on her life and knew that God was leading her into ministry. She will bless your heart. Charlene has shared stage with Harella Goodwin, Lester Lewis, Papa San, Candy Staton, Jerome Austrie, Sister Reneta, and many others, Married for 11 years, Charlene resides in St. Croix, Virgin Island with her husband Eustace and their three daughters Edisha, Sabrina and Alisha. Charlene understands the everyday challenges and trials women face in trying to balance ministry and family. She explains that having Christ as the center of your life you can come out victorious.
