Land I Know
'The Land I Know' is Chris Snell's first solo album, but there is no reason to think this is his first time down the tracks... Perhaps it was that early 90's radio and it's constant injections of Nirvana that helped round out his folk sound with something that echos pop-punk. Chris cut his teeth playing in several different power trio rock bands, but always continued to write those moody acoustic songs on the side. With crisp clean vocals that wouldn't seem out of place on a Rush record, Chris has filed his rock roots influences down to a sharp point. Chris recently finished a 6 year service in the US Army, and now fueled with the memories of foreign lands he writes delicately crafted songs that somehow embodies the pungency of the darkest dankest rock n' roll club.
