There are no broken hearts and no one gets hit by a train. I wanted this compilation of my songs to be about the joy of living, the melancholy of remembrance, the subtleties of feeling and expressing love in our relationships. I write Americana songs, the kind the baby boomer generation among others will understand. They'll have no problem understanding the words or singing along with the melody. The baby boomer boppers know what love and life is about. My life had had it's ups and downs, it's economic disasters and it's share of heartaches and busted dreams. I often say, 'Poker aside, I'm one of the luckiest men in the world.' Upon completing 'Song,' I feel that way more than ever.
