The Circle of Friends Southern Gospel Quartet is a group of friends who share the love of God and music. Together they spread the Gospel of Christ through music ministry..... southern style! Circle of Friends formed in the fall of 2002. Members Lisa Pierce and Debbie Ashburn's unique arrangements gave the mixed quartet a "special blend" which captured the hearts of audiences. Since then, they have been spreading the good news of both Christ and southern gospel harmonies at churches, community functions, private events and outdoor concerts and festivals. They have traveled around the midwest and northeastern U.S. sharing their music ministry. The group has a very energetic style of singing, as anyone who has seen them in concert will agree. 'Our primary purpose is to give glory to God through our songs, encourage people and win the lost to Christ - and have fun while doing it,' says group member, Bobby Greener. And they do have fun while presenting their message. Brad Ashburn, who sings bass for the group, is also the comedian of the group. Brad adds a light-hearted fun to their concerts as they present their message of Christ's love. The group released their first CD, "The Call", which is also available on CDBaby, in December of 2003. The group's Christmas release, "A Christmas Journey," containing two original songs as well as 10 other well loved titles, was released in November of 2004. "Amen!", their newest CD, was released in October 2005.
