Born in the Hyde Park area of Chicago, she grew up with piano lessons and a near obsession with the Beatles. Her education at the American Conservatory of Music was forever interrupted when she joined the prominent Chicago club band Aureus as singer and keyboardist. This led to 10 years traveling around the country, eventually winding up in Miami, where she met her future husband. They soon took off for CA. After settling in the LA area, she became busy - in true LA style - as a Singer/Keyboardist/Sideman/Jinglewriter/Arranger/Road Musician/Demo Artist/Christmas Caroler. When a daughter came along, all this was more or less replaced with being a Mom/Homemaker/PTA President/Choir Accompanist. But all the while she was building a home studio and acquired a nice grand piano. After meeting Daniel Joshua Rubin (at their daughters' ballet class) the idea of a very personal CD project took shape. "The Price" was completed in summer 2008. Connie lives with her husband, guitarist-composer Ken Berry, daughter Abigail, and dog Lily.
