Description
Lonely Utah civil servant Charles Richardson (John Heard) worked up the nerve to ask out recently separated coworker Laura Connolly (Mary Beth Hurt), and a romance quickly blossomed. However, his adoring fixation with her might combine with her own nagging self-doubts to scuttle the affair before it'd barely begun.
