Description
An offbeat comedy-drama from lesbian African-American filmmaker Cheryl Dunye in which she plays, of all things, a lesbian African-American video store clerk and aspiring filmmaker who becomes obsessed with learning the life story of a little-known black actress from the '30s who was known as "the Watermelon Woman" and was part of Hollywood's underground lesbian subculture.
