// Cymbolic defines a new genre in music: ambient synth rock. Drawing upon influences from Chicago, San Diego, and England, Cymbolic meshes the best of rock, electronica, and alternative into one tightly wound package. Nothing sounds quite like it. In the view of Cymbolic, all people should be living, moving, breathing symbols of who God is, and it is through this mindset that the band performs. 'May the glory never be directed at the band,' says Joel Jupp, 'but 'may we become lesser, so that He may become greater.' '
