Product Notes

Although they are total opposites, Superintendant Andy Dalziel, a blowhard old-school detective and his by-the-book partner, Peter Pascoe, form an unbeatable crime-stopping team. Set in Northern England's beautiful Yorkshire Dales, season eight features four intriguing new cases: an American tourist is found dead and Dalziel is brought face to face with her husband, a cop and former army commander. A soap star is murdered at a beach resort at the same time a diamond heist takes place in town. The body of a barmaid is located on a bleak, deserted moor that could be the work of either a vengeful killer or a mythical beast, and the family of a murdered factor worker points the odd couple detectives to his new Russian fiancée. Gripping intrigue and surprising twists keep this series fresh and new into it's eighth season!
