Damon Maida is a singer/songwriter based in New York City. For five years, he led the New York vocal band The Fonic, touring the northeast and playing distinguished New York venues like the Bitter End and Westbury Music Fair, where they opened for comedian Wayne Brady. Damon describes his style as "James Taylor with a pop sensibility," and infuses his songs with memorable melodies, heartfelt lyrics and unpretentious honesty. He enjoys writing for other artists and collaborating with singers on projects in any genre. It is his greatest pleasure to share music with others, in whatever way he can.
