Winter is one of my most favorite times of the year. Freshly fallen snow becomes an irresistible invitation to observe, create and play. Ice skates are dusted off and hot cocoa warms you up from a day spent out in the snow. One memory I will always cherish takes place every year between Christmas and New Years. During this time Jenn and I bundle up the kids, load in the car and drive down to the lake where the water is frozen over. There we spend a day with family, sipping hot cocoa and skating (playing) out on the ice. It's experiences like these that leave impressions in each one of us. Winter's Impressions is an all inspiring holiday CD that will bring back joyful holiday memories and inspire many more to be enjoyed by all for years to come. So make Winter's Impressions a part of your holiday experience today. HELP MAKE DREAMS COME TRUE! PRODUCTION NOTES: In December of 2006, I was sitting at a small table signing copies of my album 'After The Rain' which had just been released when I realized the majority of the people there that day were all asking me the same question. 'When is your Christmas album going to be out?' At that point I knew I had less than a year to create a Christmas album. As a professional recording engineer and songwriter/arranger I've produced hundreds of albums just over the past few years, but I found that when it came to working on my own personal album it was not as easy as I've made it look for everyone else. Especially as I've taken the roll of both musician and recording engineer. If it had not been for help from my sweet wife, my mother and two good friends (who all took turns manning the controls) I would have never been able to finish this album in time.
