New Age Sensitive Guy
New Age Sensitive Guy is my first album, and most of the songs are humorous and politically incorrect. For example, 'Marital Infidelity' is about a guy's cluelessness as to why his wife might be miffed by an extramarital fling. The title track pokes fun at male attempts to come off to women as sensitive and caring. 'White Bread' is about how boring we become as we hit middle age. 'HMO Blues' deals with frustration over health insurance. There are a few serious tunes too. 'The Guy Who Lost His Child' is an anti-war song, and 'Teenage Lullabye' should resonate for anyone whose child has grown up and left home. The songs cross a lot of genres, and I'm told there's a Beatles feeling to some of the tunes and arrangements. I sing all of the vocal tracks and play all of the instruments, but I have a few 'guest stars' who have put down a track or two when they can do it better than I can.
