Ten Million Times & One
Rowing up in southern Georgia, David Herndon was surrounded by the traditions of the South - humid summer afternoons, country music, and the Bible. "I knew all about Jesus and God and the Holy Spirit," he says, "but when I was 16, I heard a call to know Him personally, not just know about Him. Since then, there have been specific times in my life when I have felt or heard God's voice calling me deeper. These are the moments that my life is made of, these are the lessons I have learned, and these are the messages I try to convey to others through my music." Recorded at home during an incredible season of life changes, 'Ten Million Times...and One', David's rootsy 2002 Rebuilt release, is a snapshot of a young man in the most important search for truth. More recently, David has continued to work with students in the Golden Isles region of Georgia's coast. A devoted husband and father, David has devoted himself to his ministry and to his family. Rumor has it, though, that every now and then he gets dusts off that old 8-track, and when the time is right, we'll here some more from the Deep South.
