I Am for America!
About the Musicians I AM FOR AMERICA David Rice Kelly - composed the music & lyrics and performed, I Am for America! He is also the vocalist for all the songs on this project. David has mostly written music for the church and performs what he has composed. He has played keyboards and has been singing and performing since he was five years old. While in his 20's, he sang in musical reviews in New York City and upstate New York, mostly in Syracuse. David has written over 500 songs. His passion is the Christian Celtic and minor mode music sounds. He loves and respects all forms of Christian music, especially the great hymns of the church. He has quite a library of hymnals from a broad spectrum of denominations. He has composed and performed several ballad-love songs over the years. David has also performed on live and recorded television programs over several networks. Sean Francis - arranged all of the songs for this album. He has played keyboards all his life. He has this amazing talent and gift to be able to hear what the song writer was unable to hear. He gave each of the songs on this album a most unique musical interpretation that is not usually associated with the 'norm' of patriotic music. Sean has arranged many songs for several clients over the years that have always added real depth and quality to the original works. Sean has arranged the music for a cable network in the Los Angeles market. During the 90's he performed at the Los Angeles Biltmore Hotel with the Swing Band, Raymond Hart and the Hi-Tones. Besides playing keyboards at several prestigious private parties, he has played for years as a musician in residence at several churches on the West Coast (from Washington to California). There are not enough words to describe my personal respect and gratitude for Sean's creative talent for the song, I Am for America! Steve Stone - What words can one find to describe the brilliant career, talent, and stability of our drummer, Steve Stone? Steve has a passion for drums, but even more, he has a passion for music. Although Steve wanted to play drums at age 9, he began his formal training with classical piano and spent five years in that endeavor. At the age of 18 he began playing the drums and has been playing them ever since. He is a fine teacher of the drums and keeps himself very busy with gigs all over Southern California. His special performances include: the House of Blues, the Academy Awards, and the Grammy Awards. Steve was the 'glue' that held this album together because he gave such brilliant counsel to both the arranger and the performer as well as the studio technician on how to succeed by using alternative forms of percussion and vocal interpretation to achieve our final product. He worked diligently with Gary King, the co-owner and studio technician of King Productions in the final mastering of our album.
