The Dead Bullfighters, a San Francisco based modern rock band, have been hailed by The California Times as, '...the most explosive unsigned rock band of 2004.'. Their catchy, melodically driven sound has been described as Oasis meets Coldplay with a uniquely American spin on the Brit-Pop genre. Some have even dared to compare the depth of The Dead Bullfighters' songwriting talent to that of Nirvana and The Beatles. The band's recently released debut album has received critical acclaim from college radio as well as constant attention from concert promoters in Europe and the U.K. With songs like 'Madison Avenue', 'Arrested', and 'Maybe Some Lifetime', The Dead Bullfighters continue to make a convincing argument for airplay to major record labels and radio stations across North America and Europe. The DB's are lead vocalist and songwriter Knox Ziegler, drummer/producer Matt Calkins (formerly of Bellas Curve) and Jason Blalock, bass (formerly of Lookout Records recording artists, The Pattern).
