'The Permanent Thing' is her first record, a collection of 11 original acoustic tracks featuring sharply drawn lyrics and catchy melodies. Songs range from the haunted sounds of "Winter" and "Both Eyes Closed" to the Latin-tinged "You Know He's Going To Do It Again" to the uptempo celebration of girls who fly that is 'Amelia.'
